FAQ
Teeth whitening questions, answered
Everything clients ask us before their first session. If your question isn't here, message us and we'll answer it personally.
- How much does teeth whitening cost in Toronto?
- Our sessions start at $130 for the 30 minute Express Glow and $180 for the 60 minute White Standard. Couples sessions are $240 for 30 minutes and $340 for 60 minutes, and a private White Party group booking starts at $600. A $50 deposit secures your appointment. In-clinic dental whitening in Toronto commonly runs several hundred dollars per visit.
- Which session should I book?
- Choose the 30 minute Express Glow for a quick refresh before an event. Choose the 60 minute White Standard if your teeth are heavily stained from coffee, smoking or alcohol and you want maximum results — it is our most popular session.
- How many shades whiter will my teeth get?
- The 60 minute session can brighten your smile by up to 10 shades. Your actual result depends on your starting shade and the type of staining — coffee, tea, red wine and smoking stains respond particularly well.
- Does teeth whitening hurt?
- No. Our low-sensitivity formula makes the process fast, effective and completely pain-free, even if you have sensitive teeth. It is also safe and enamel friendly.
- Do you offer couples teeth whitening?
- Yes. Together, Brighter is a side-by-side 30 minute session for two at $240, and The Ultimate Duo is the full hour for two at $340.
- Can I book a group or bridal party?
- Yes — our White Party is a private in-studio experience for up to 4–5 guests, starting at $600 with custom add-ons available. Message us for a custom quote.
- Who is this treatment not suitable for?
- This treatment is not suitable if you have dentures, teeth implants, severe cavities, veneers or braces. If you are unsure, ask us before booking — email info@quickwhitesmile.ca or call 416-939-7640.
- How should I prepare, and what happens after?
- Before your session, avoid coffee, alcohol, juice, food and smoking for at least one hour, and brush your teeth and gums thoroughly. Afterwards we recommend a 24 hour white diet — avoiding deeply coloured food and drink — to lock in your result.
- Is professional whitening better than strips or whitening toothpaste?
- Whitening toothpaste mostly removes surface film, and strips work slowly over weeks with uneven coverage. A professional session concentrates the whole result into one appointment with even coverage across the smile, which is why it is the option people choose before an event.
- Does baking soda or charcoal whiten teeth?
- Baking soda is mildly abrasive and can lift some surface stain, but it does not change the underlying tooth shade, and abrasive home remedies used often can wear enamel. A professional whitening treatment works on the stains themselves rather than scrubbing the surface.
- How long do the results last?
- It depends on your habits. Coffee, tea, red wine and smoking gradually re-stain teeth, so daily drinkers and smokers top up more often. Following the 24 hour white diet after your session helps the result hold longer.
- Do you offer mobile teeth whitening?
- Yes — we offer a mobile option across Toronto and the GTA. Contact us with your location and we will confirm availability.
- Can I book teeth whitening if I am pregnant or nursing?
- Please contact us before booking if you are pregnant or nursing so we can discuss your situation and whether a cosmetic whitening appointment is appropriate for you.
